For booking, please send an email including a link to a website with music (MP3, streamable, whatever.) You can also mail a CD to Barbes, 376 9th St, Brooklyn, NY, 11215 - but due to overwhelming clutter, we'd much rather stay virtual.

As you might guess from our mention of clutter, we get many CDs. We also have few open slots which means that our schedule cannot accommodate many new bookings. We try to listen to all but cannot respond to every request. It is not arrogance - there is simply not enough time.

Also be aware that barbes is a VERY small space located in a residential area. We prefer acoustic music, cannot have any rock bands, cannot have electric bass and program almost no singer/songwriters or straight-ahead jazz.
